There are some ‘powerful’ Christians in which due to their ‘unparalleled holiness,’ God had no choice but to reveal to them the list containing the names of those that will go to hell.
There are some ‘specially anointed’ Christians that any time you are preaching or put up a post, they know they are too holy for it to be addressed to them, so they will keep encouraging you by saying to you: “tell THEM Father, let THEM hear.”
Have you ever imagined the surprises that await many of us in heaven?
I find this poem by Taylor Ludwig very funny but deep with message. It is often the case that we are quick to see the faults of others when ours stare us to our faces but we can’t see them.
The poem is titled “Heaven’s Surprise”.
I was shocked, confused, bewildered
As I entered Heaven’s door
Not by the beauty of it all
Not by the lights or decor
But it was the folks in Heaven
Who made me sputter and gasp
The thieves, the liars, the sinners
The alcoholics, the trash!!
There stood the kid from the seventh grade
He’d stole my lunch money twice!!
Next to him was my old neighbor
Who never said anything nice!!
Uncle Bob, who I always thought
Was rotting away in hell
Was sitting pretty, on cloud nine
Looking incredibly well!!
I nudged Jesus, “What’s the deal, I’d love to hear your take.
On how’d all these sinners get up here
God must have made a mistake!!
And why’s everyone so quiet.
So somber. Give me a clue.”
“Hush child,” said He “they’re all in shock.
No one thought they’d see you here too !!”
