In Christian theology, the death, resurrection, and exaltation of Jesus are the most important events, and a foundation of the Christian faith.
In Christian art, the ascending Jesus is often shown blessing an earthly group below him, signifying the entire Church.
In that light, Cardinal Robert Sarah has proven to the Christian community the need to know that Christ never left us orphans.
According to Cardinal RS, he wrote;
After the Ascension, Christ did not leave men orphans. As at the beginning of creation, like a light breeze, “the breath of God hovered over the surface of the waters”; thus the Son of God has laid mankind in the hands of the Holy Spirit.
